Shri D Suresh Kumar
Mr. Suresh Kumar hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Diploma in Ceramic Technology. He joined Bhoruka Group in 1974 in the Refractory division and is at present heading the unit. Mr. Kumar has successfully produced and marketed refractories to major clients like Rail Wheel factory, JSW steels and Vishakapatnam Steels. He has developed new products for steel rolling mills and rail wheel casting and has exported products to Sri Lanka and South Africa.
Mr. Suresh Kumar was Member of Indian Ceramic Society, Karnataka Chapter, during 2011-13. As a Chairman of Indian Ceramic Society, he has conducted International Seminars and also won the Best Chapter Award. He has been associated with Whitefield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WACIA) since the past 10 years. At present he is holding the post of Vice President. The main focus of the Association is improving infrastructure in Whitefield, development of skills, holding free health camps and conducting a variety of programmes for the benefits of 300 Assn members.
He has been a Managing Committee Member of FKCCI for the past 11 years and has had the privilege of being Vice Chairman & Chairman of various committees like Infrastructure, Labour, Human Resources and Manthan. At present as a Chairman of International Trade Committee, he has conducted meetings with Consulates of countries like Japan, Czechoslovakia, Israel, France and Switzerland. The flagship event of this committee is the Export Excellence Award programme which is being held on June 15, 2018.
